Into the Woods!

I finished my first beaded knit project, the Into the Woods scarf.  It was a really fun knit and very easy. Putting the beads on one at a time was a bit tedious at times but there weren't that many of them (168) since the beadwork was only on the ends.

The visual motif is a bit subtle - one end has trees with beaded accents and transitions into leaves.  The leaves, which is the part that wraps around the neck, is without beads for more comfortable wear. The other end has flowers with beaded accents.  The beads I chose are a dark purple color so it's very understated and you may not notice them at first.

The length came out a bit longer than I'd wanted after I blocked it and I've considered ripping some of it out to shorten it but I'm going to wait on that.  I'll try wetting it and reblocking it and not stretching it out as much.  Overall I'm very pleased with it.
